Early testing confirmed that Thermablade technology cuts starting resistance by up to 75% and gliding resistance by as much as 55%. Additional experiments with actual skaters proved that oxygen consumption, heart rate and lactic acid build-up are all significantly reduced, creating an overall physiological advantage of approximately 10%.
